TASARA started in 2024, in a small apartment in Rohini, Delhi, with Anjali Sharma and a simple frustration.
Beautiful jewelry always seemed to come with either an impossible price tag or a compromise on quality. The pieces that felt truly special were locked behind boutique prices. The affordable ones rarely felt special at all.
So she started doing what she'd always done for friends and family — hunting through Delhi's jewelry markets and small workshops, picking out pieces that actually looked and felt good, and skipping the ones that didn't. No mass-ordering, no guessing from a catalogue. Every piece TASARA sells has been seen, checked, and personally chosen before it's listed.
That's still how we work today. We're a small team, we pack and ship every order ourselves from Rohini, and we'd rather sell fewer things we're proud of than everything under the sun.
